The following hours reflect the time the clinic is open for supplement pick-up, appointment scheduling or any other general inquiries. Please be advised that clinician hours are by appointment only and may fall outside the hours outlined above.
Booking with Veritas
If you’re new to naturopathic medicine our friendly receptionists will be happy to answer any general questions you may have regarding our results-oriented wholistic model of health care.
If you have a preferred clinician in mind, they will then find the first available opening and schedule you a time that best suits your agenda. Should there not be any suitable appointment times, we are happy to place you on our cancellation list and call you as soon as one becomes available. If you do not have a specific clinician in mind, we strongly encourage to visit ‘Our Team’ and look through each practitioner’s biography and get a sense of who you might best resonate with. We find that this is a critical step in forming a satisfying therapeutic relationship, as each clinician has different areas of emphasis in their respective practices.
Once you’ve decided on a practitioner and scheduled a suitable time, our receptionists will then create a profile for you with your personal information, all of which are held in the strictest confidence and in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Intake forms will then be emailed to you in advance of your appointment. Please take the time to have these completed before your appointment, as the forms can be quite lengthy. You should be aware that if you start filling out your forms at the appointed time, this means less time with your clinician in consultation.
Finally, our receptionists will require a credit card number to be kept on file in order to secure your appointment. It is important to know that no charges will be placed on your card at this time. The information is collected should there be an occasion where you’re unable to give sufficient notice to cancel your appointment or unable to give us any notice whatsoever. In this case you are responsible for either a portion or the entirety of the missed appointment time. Should we find ourselves in a position to apply any charges, we will always contact you first.
Cancellation Policy
Life has a way of getting in the way from time to time despite our best intentions, however we require sufficient notice in order to be able to offer your appointment to others in need should you be unable to attend.
In the event that you are not able to keep your scheduled appointment, please contact the office at 250-342-1457 during regular office hours at least 24 business hours before your scheduled appointment time.
If notice of cancellation is provided less than 24 business hours of your scheduled appointment time (not including weekend cancellations for Monday appointments), you will be billed & responsible for 50% of the appointment fee.
If no notice is provided and an appointment is missed, you will be billed & responsible for 100% of the appointment fee.
IV Cancellation Policy:
Notice to cancel an IV treatment must be made by phoning our office BEFORE 10:00 am on the morning of your scheduled IV treatment.
IV Late cancellations: If notice of cancellation is not before 10:00 am of your scheduled appointment date & time, you will be billed & responsible for a $10.00 cancellation fee plus the cost of the IV bag prepared for you.
“No-show” will be billed & responsible for 100% of the treatment cost. (Treatment cost includes: time required to render treatment + the IV bag prepared for you)
